wow, i think there is some pouncing going on here....

To the OP, I agree with wemple2 and Jeri Cunningham. Some dogs are just more sensitive then others. I've stepped on Morgan's foot a couple of times and i've accidentally kicked her once or twice too because she got underfoot. Hell, my dad actually accidentally knocked her down 4 steps when she was 6 months old. She didn't make a peep and just got up and continued to follow him, except a little less closely. We've all learned to be more careful. When morgan was a baby i would shuffle around her. Now she's learned to move out of the way and not get in front of people while they're walking. So does stepping on my dog make me a irresponsible owner? i think not. Things happen.

Dogs will usually cry out more in shock then in pain. however, excessive crying should be addressed, especially if its accompanied by trembling and panting, or something more serious.
