Thats a hard one....
...But I was in a similar situation, so hopefully this helps...
Several years I got a Yorkie named Vegas, and then decided to stay at the apt I was in (which I never really was at because I mostly lived with my b/f at the time, and was just going to move in with him when my lease was up)...then we broke up....and as you can imagine recived a eviction notice (because we were not allowed pets) unless i got rid of my dog.
So...I had my mom watch her for 6 months until my apt lease was up....
6 months passed and it was time to collect my dog...only my mom was by that time too attached, so she offered to get me another Yorkie to replace Vegas, and as hard as it was for me...I let her keep Vegas, and accepted the new dog. I figured that I only had her less than 2 months and my mom had her like 6, so I did what was best and let her keep her..... |
