75 dogs is such a high number  Do they really make efforts to find them homes at this shelter ?? I've heard some only give them 5 days and that's just NOT long enough |
The shelter runs mostly on donations. They do advertise in the paper and radio. At events like festivals, car shows and anything that will draw a crowd they will load up some of the dogs and take to the event and a lot of people will adopt them there. I think another reason there are a lot too is because they do give them a long time to get adopted. One dog has been there since January. Some of the dogs are sponsored so they will stay there until they find a home.
