I'm a big believer in micro-chipping. I chip all my puppies whether I keep them to show or sell them. It gives me peace of mind to know that hopefully if they are stolen or lost there is some chance of recovery. Also, a friend of mine had a small male stolen right out of her house that was not chipped and the police told her that she would have a hard time proving that the dog was hers without some type of identification if they did happen to catch the guy.
