My Tea' just had six puppies and the first thing the step kids asked (mind you they live in Phoenix, Arizona and I live near Rochester, NY) was, can we give one to Aria..well, she is my step grandchild, but not even two years old!! and her mom is expecting again in December...lordy.. I felt (just for a milli-second) like the wicked stepmom. But, guess what, I am also mom with Tea' to her precious little ones who would surely, although unintentionally get played with like toys! All is takes is one whoops, and poor yorkie baby is hurt or god forbid killed. So, I don't care if it hurts their feelings (they will get over it).. I'll buy my grandchildren stuffed animals to play with until they are much, much older.
