I am so sorry. I don't know either of you since I am new here. I am a old time breeder so I do know a lot. The akc comes out and checks all my records once a year and they are always correct. If not they will cancel all your dogs.
They do a great job, they bring a computer with them and compare records, so there is no messing up.
Something like this could have happened to her, or if she had purchased the mother or father of your pup from someone who was checked later and didn't pass, her dogs would be cancelled too. So you see she could have a reason BUT SHE DON'T HAVE ONE FOR NOT RESPONDING.
Lots can happen so don't give up. The courts don't do to well for anyone. You may get a judgement but it is just a piece of paper that is uncollectable.
