I'm very rarely there by myself. There are normally two bathers and two groomers there most of the day, and the owner is there a lot of the time too. Toward the very end of the day once the groomers are done it's normally just me and one bather left - they clean up the grooming/bathing areas and the store and all until we close and we both leave together. So I'm normally not there alone. We have a short child-gate that keeps our dogs behind the counter. It's a small shop so even if I walk to the back area I can still see up front well. I am usually right there with Lacy or take her to the back with me if I go back there for a while. I have though several times though about someone coming in and trying to steal our dogs so I try to make sure I don't leave her unattended. Just today, I left for a few minutes to walk to a restaurant behind us to get lunch to go and I put Lacy in the back with the groomers. One of said.."are you afraid someone's going to steal Lacy?" I said "yeah...you never know." It's scary how many yorkies and small dogs in general that are going missing...
