Our yorkies must be groomed regularly. If not they get knots ect in their hair. Gracie loves to be combed/brushed. I get the water squirt bottle out and the comb and she is all excited and ready to go. Gracie and Hallee both get professionally groomed every 4 weeks., 25.00 each. I like their hair a little shorter because have less to hardly no knots, tangles at all.

Have to be careful they do not jump down from high places ect. Do not want them to break a leg ect. Like from the back of the couch or bed.

Our house is pretty much yorkie proof. We constantly check the floor to be sure nothing has been dropped that our little vacuum's could possible get. We just have gotten used to double checking everything. You can not leave anything on the coffee tables or end tables because they are bound to get them.

Our yorkies eat both dry and wet food. We have to cut the wet food up in little pieces so not to choke.

They love to follow us around the house so you have to constantly be aware of them...trying not to step on them, sit on them ect.

Our's are not yappers. They only bark if they hear an unfamiliar noise of if we have company.

We have had one bought with hyp that scared us to death. With these little guys nothing is minor. Have to have constant eye regarding their health ect.

They are really high maintenance, more than we anticpated. We would never give them up.
