Mine don't go on walks on the sidewalk in the neighborhood because of too many irresponsible owners with unleashed, aggressive dogs. Too many close calls, we don't chance it anymore, thankfully I have a large fenced in backyard so they can get plenty of exercise. |
ur lucky. here in Puerto Rico they don't walk their dogs as much as we do in the US. My first 3rd week with Ryoko i had a close call too, too close . A German shepard had Ryoko in his mouth. Some quick thinking from my son saved Ryoko's life. the houses are so close together there is no running space for a pet.
when i say "walk" ryoko just perks up and runs by the door, since he loves walks so much my son and i keep a look out for danger and grab Ryoko before any threat is close enough to hurt him.
I never really thought about the heat and if it was too hot for him.... he doesn't seem to care i assume they can take it.. cause in
PR its basically hot all the time
