it is possible for the yorkie to be pure breed and an unusual color. A few people here have golden, chocolate, and red-legged yorkies. These colors shouldn't be bred for but occasionally they happen. Don't let any breeder fool you into paying more then a 'regular' colored yorkie for these color anomalies.
