this weekend we decided to repaint our bedroom. the carpet in the bedrooms is over 10 years old.
talk about disgusting! there was so much dirt underneath it and dust coming up from it we had to leave the room for a few minutes.
i think we are going to go with hardwood. we priced it and i always thought it would be more expensive than tile, but the cost was about the same!

so for all of you with HARDWOOD, not laminate, how do you clean it? i saw the bleach idea. doesn't that ruin the finish?

i also told my husband we should wait to get new couches until we do the floor. then we can decide on how we want the room to look. (i'd also like to paint first to avoid all that hassle!!)
