Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Here are a few things that come to mind but before I got a Yorkie, I didn't know most of this stuff and learned it not too long ago on YT.
Yorkies should always wear a harness because collars can cause collapsed trachea.
Some Yorkie puppies get hypoglycenia (especially when taken from mom to soon).
A lot of Yorkies are VERY hard to housetrain. If Yorkie has free rein of the house you might end up ripping up all of your carpet.
Most Yorkies hate being alone and may have a fit in their crate.
Some Yorkies will bark all the time.
It may not be a good idea to let a Yorkie outside alone because of the high theft rate and intolerance to extreme temperatures.
If all of your Yorkies baby teeth don't fall out they should be pulled.
I am sure there are lots of missed but I don't want to make it seem like Yorkies are all work. They are the best breed of dog ever and you will be rewarded for all of your effort with their love for you.
