I would take out my sewing machine and put a "buttonhole" where the harness rings would be. It is very simple and doesn't take long, especially if you have an automatic buttonhole setting on your machine. If you can't do it maybe you know someone who sews who could do it for you. I would practice first on a scrap fabric to make sure you have it set up right. Good luck!
