When you think about it .... that loser is the
real loser!!! What a joy she is but it took her longer to trust anyone than any I've ever seen! When we were in Colorado, Toto and Shira had playdates and a few sleepovers! Every time Heather left her, she would watch the door for at least an hour even though she loved us and enjoyed herself at our house. It would break my heart because I knew it was because of the horrible life she had before! It was one of the
great moments in my life when she began to climb on my lap to snuggle or lay on her back on my lap for belly rubs just because
she wanted to!! My really big day came when Heather came to pick her up and instead of glueing herself to Heather, like she usually did, she still came over and wanted in
my lap!!! We
both about fell off our chairs!
