Regarding exercise, i would wait till your puppy has all its distemper vaccines before taking him for walks. Then after that only go for short walks. When i first started walking morgan (i got her in July) she could only make it halfway around the block and i carried her the rest of the way. her little legs got tired and it was mid summer so it was hot. after a few walks in the heat i gave up on them until it cooled down a little. By mid-September she was able to make it all the way around the block (she was 5 months then). So use your pup as a guide for walks.
