Oh, Kimberly I am so sorry for you and your whole family. What a thing to have to go through. I have never heard of a vet using forceps for a delivery on a small breed. Time is your best bet and his best bet would have been to just do a c-section. I had a female that had a hard time delivery the last one. Too much time had gone by for her to deliver herself,so I rushed her to the vets and they gave her the shot, we waited and then had to do a c-section. No forceps were ever used.
Glad to hear that London and her little boy is alive.
It is a holiday weekend and I know that many vets are getting ready for vacation. So sorry you had to go to someone unknown to you. We will keep you in our prayers.
