Now y'all stay with me. The new "Mommy" takes Zeke home. As we all know, anyone that adopts a furbaby, has to have love in their hearts. With ALL THE EXPOSURE Zeke has had on various websites, flyers, emails (I have sent to anyone and everyone I know up "North"), as have SO many here, there is a good possibility THAT THE NEW "OWNER" WILL eventually RECOGNIZE ZEKE. If they do so because they have read his story ANYWHERE, surely they would want him returned to his rightful family, once they are aware of the devastation to Maureen.?? Especially if they know there would be no repercussions?
I think we have to consider this possiblity, that either his new family, innocently showing him off, could expose him to someone that knows/shows a flyer/website/picture of Zeke.

Just a thought.... but a definite possibility. That is just one reason NOT to give up and to continue exposing people to as many pics/flyers etc containing Zeke's picture and story. Because even if he is "sold", the story need NOT end there!!!!
I was thinking along the same lines. If the person that has him purchased him with the impression that the seller was reputable than they should not be afraid to take him to the vet to be checked out. So as long as I keep the veterinarians informed that he is still missing then maybe someday they will bring him in for a check up and he will be scanned.
