If my vet just want to dismiss the issue as a few nutty people are making things up or wants to make me feel like I'm an irresponsible owner or neglectful owner I look for a new vet....sometimes they get into a routine of doing things a certain way that was taught in school, they have a hard time changing the way things are done, even though the info may dictate it should be changed....& sometimes it's just a money issue, after all they are in a position to tell you not to do something that will greatly impact their income if he recommends this change to all his clients ....
