Personally, I would NEVER allow that combo shot, it's a cocktail of 5 rolled into 1.....it is the DHLPP for: Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, & Parvo Virus... that is the equivalent to us getting five diseases at once & having our immune system cope w/ them all at once.....it's way to much for it to handle & some dogs have a compromised immune system .....they don't need all of the vaccines in that shot....the only ones I now do is distemper & parvo,the three shot series, when their pups & no more, ever....I've also done the rabies, but now I'm reconsidering that one too,I don't care if it is required by law, my dogs are in my home & I feel the risk of coming into contact w/ rabies is minuscule...compared to the health risks of the vaccine....this is all a personal choice for everyone....I don't take mine to a groomers because they want the dog to have every vaccine under the sun before they will groom him & I will not do it.
