I found a harness that has a velcro closures. One wraps around the neck and one around the little belly. They are made with a mesh-like, sport shirt-like material and the leash ring is on top. Much easier to get on the squirmly little bugger! It was a bit expensive but I got a size larger ( they come in really small sizes ) so Dublin can grow into it.
I saw them on line after I bought mine. If you're interested, I'll look it up for you.
