There is NO AC ANYWHERE in Germany. Unless its a high class place
My OBGYN Dr is down town.. about 6 flights up and NO AC.
The only AC you get is the freezer area of the store lol
They do have coolers you can buy to put in your home... Kind of like the window units but they dont go in the window. There really $$ and only being here 3 yrs.. its not really worth buying it. All you have to do is open a window and put a fan in-front of it. It only gets up to about 80.... so its NOT too bad. Even most cars here dont even have AC in them... Its something you have to pay extra for... its not like back home where ALL of them come with it.
I have been here fore 2 yrs so I have gotten use to it... But I still miss AC on a hot sunny day. Going shopping in a store on those days... is not fun at all.
