How adorable! When is the little Mommy due?
I tried the ice cubes - I have a tray that makes half size ice cubes. He was so cute, picking it up and trying to run away with it and then having to spit it out because it was too cold.
I think Max is okay, and that it is the heat. I made him chicken and rice and he ate about half of it, along with little pieces of my Subway hero meat and bread. He has to actually see me bite the food on my plate, and put some into his bowl before he'll start to eat. Usually, he gets involved in his food and eats some dog food. I just kind of have to start his engine with something from my plate.
After dinner, I put him into the bathtub with a little bit of tepid water and some toys to cool him down. That really helped. Now he's busily chewing on his new Jumbo Phat Flossie.
I was wondering before, how do you know when a dog is better in this kind of heat? I got the answer! I had some underwear on top of a cabinet in the bathroom. He's positive that my underwear really is his property. He just lets me use it. When he jumped up about 12 times to get to it, I realized, this dog is more than likely just fine! That cabinet is about 3 feet tall.
Thanks guys!
