vainchick- You did it! I am so proud of you. It will get easier every time if you stick with being the boss. I know she looks like a heartbroken, dejected little waif, but she will get over it, I promise, and will become the sweet natured charmer you want, instead of a tyrant whose shenanigans aren't so cute during a daily battle. It's very much like parenting- The best moms have had each kid scream 'I hate you!' at some point...in the end they are grateful for the boundaries and structure you provide, it gives them a safe, solid base from which to soar..truly spoiled kids are a pain in the butt, and not ever happy. |
