i bought Layla the smallest crate i could get and it will still HUGE when she was a puppy so i stuffed the back with towels to make a very small area for her at night... she has since graduated to a bigger crate that i was able to buy second hand. I recommend this becuase you don't know how big your little one is going to get and he might not outgrow the small one, and then you will have this HUGE crate he will never use. I think crate training is the BEST thing ever, and now a year later layla LOVES her crate and can't wait to go in at night and hates coming out in the morning
