When we had our poodle done years ago in another state, they pulled the teeth for free since she was already under. They also charge for a blood panel(75.00), antibiotic injection (18.00), blood count
(38.00), blood pressure (30.00), collect specimen (12.00) medicine (17.00 and 26.00), surgical prep (15.00) and then dental scaling (50.00). I don't know if I listed everything but the estimate was 504.24. We will not go back to this vet. I really feel since we just spent 500.00 having both dogs there last week for their yearly check and we were having our poodle's teeth cleaned (189.00-they did the blood work during the original visit so we already paid for that-at least they could of either pulled her teeth or cleaned them for a discount. But.....they were recommended as a great vet with high tech for surgery and we were so worried about Kiwi we wanted to be sure we left nothing to chance. But I need to find a more reasonable vet for the yearly check-ups. Thanks for the post.
They over charged. Shame on them. It only takes a few seconds to pull those baby teeth. Every time I have had to have teeth pulled they never charged me since they just did it while they were under for a spay or neuter. Amazing how they rip us off.
