Hey, I can't really offer you any advice on whether or not you should get another puppy. I think that's a very hard very personal decision. Just letting you know, I'm in the same boat. My Lexie's parents are having another litter this fall and I am going back and forth. Lexie will be a year old then. I'm like you, I'd like them to be blood sisters. I just keep thinking that I'm scared to take any time and attention from Lexie. She loves to be the center of the universe. I also think that's twice the brushings, twice the vet visits, twice the grooming, twice the baths...Mainly it's about how would Lexie feel. Tough decision. Good luck with whatever you end up deciding. Oh, and when I first told my BF about my puppy fever he reacted like your husband. He started to soften and now it's more or less up to me. |
