 Lucky break!
For my mom's birthday last year, I joined our local PBS station and got tickets to a Chris Botti show -- with a "meet and greet" event. The show was back in January.
Unfortunately, my mom was still battling pneumonia and we didn't get to attend. She was really bummed.
A few weeks ago, the station was doing a membership drive again and were hawking tickets to a show with Chris Botti AND Diana Krall later this summer. I decided to take my chances when regular ticket sales started over the weekend ... but I forgot!!!
Luckily, I remembered this morning. While trying to get tickets online, my first two tries weren't successful. On the third try, I just clicked on "best available" and managed to get a VIP section in orchestra seating. They are very good seats and the concert venue here is one of the best going. Can't wait to surprise my mom with these! |
