How often during the night do you take her out of the crate to PP or Poo. The little ones at that age can't hold it much longer than two hours. With Maggie, I got up every two hours to take her outside to PP. She is now 4 months old and completely housebroken. She even rings a bell on the back door when she needs to go out. As long as you know your baby does not have to PP or Poo ----- DO NOT give into her and take her out of the crate, just because she cries. I too only use the crate for Maggie to sleep in. During the day, if I need to go to the store, she plays in her exercise pen. Until she get her adult teeth, I don't feel safe leaving her to run loose in the house alone. Your baby will calm down, once they know they can't bluff you anymore.
