So. Cal is like living on a huge ant hill and it amazes me how quickly they can find things. I kill every singles "scout ants" I find.

Florida is horrible too! I'm always battling the sugar/grease-eating ants. Even had a pro exterminator tell me that what they're really after is WATER, ugh! So I try to keep the kitchen very clean and dry, and I put that Terro stuff on the ant trails. Keeps them away for a few weeks, then they're back
Endless battle
I have to free feed mine, or they get too hungry, especially little tiny butt Luna. She eats a few pieces of kibble every couple of hours, and doesn't do well if she doesn't. Izzy, on the other hand, is getting chunky.
