After reading
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83156 I ordered several reclaimed bed pads to switch Wickett from the regular pee pads. He's been home and on the pee pads for 2 weeks now, and the new pads arrived today. I put the pad in the same place as his pee pad, sprayed the training spray on it, and placed Wickett on it so he could make the connection. So far he's sniffed it, layed on it, but not gone to the bathroom on it. He quickly ran into the carpet and ran in to pee on it. I tried rubbing the paper towel that I used to clean up the pee on the new pad so he'd make the association, but so far nothing.
So.....is there anything else that I can do to help him make the transition easier? I really love the thought of the reusable pads, so I'd like to make this work for us.
Thanks for your help guys!
