She doesn't matt easily. The hair does not stay up when combed up, it just goes right back into place. If I mess it up intentionally she gives a shake and it is right back in place. Underneath there is a bit more of the softer thinner hair, up top it is getting thicker and stronger feeling strands. Could her coat be undergoing a change? She is now 9 mo. old
