[QUOTE=CO_yorkie_momma;1187334]My guess and it is only a guess is it could be any reason:

2. She may have new puppies and dont want them being exposed to people. Something no breeder would want.
3. It is easier to meet somewhere than bathe and groom all of your dogs for people to come and look at all of them.

Plain and simple, it is just easier would be my guess, she may have nothing to hide at all. Having alot of dogs is alot of work and if you have dogs in long coats and people come to your house every few days to look at dogs, that is alot of grooming to do to keep them all looking nice.

I have been contemplating meeting families in town every since the dognappings/breakins. These are a couple more reasons that would add to it, particular #2 but I almost never have one litter at a time. Nevertheless, Parvo can still be carried about and can wipe out a litter. Over protective, but I'm taking care of the babies for their new owners as I would if they were mine. The burglaries, some people can be very pushy. I make it a point to get to know everyone, but it's not failproof. I have children and would never want them to be subjected to any violence of course. I teach them not to talk to strangers and not to open the door to strangers Why would I let strangers in my home now? That's just commen sense to me as I write it. I've always allowed everyone to come in but have always worried about these 2, I think I'd rather have peace of mind.

#3, My house is clean, dogs are bathed and groomed regularly, but I put ALOT of pressure on myself when visitors, weekends, clients, anyone comes around. Having health problems, running a home with children and pets, it's a full time job and I make it harder on myself.

I understand this lady was rude and said some pretty weird things. But if all of a sudden I started getting emails that I was suspicious of (A breeder knows, it's a gut feeling. I pray over my puppies and where they go, so I have inside information lol), I would be blunt (you have to be) and possibly rude if said person constantly pressed and pressed. Not like this lady was, granted. But I would kindly write an email stating that I'm declining this sale, thanks for the inquiry, and best wishes in finding a new puppy. That with an explaination or not. Breeders have little time on their hands they have very full lives like we all do. And I imagine they don't like their chains being jerked. I know some feel this is a rescue, so I'm not saying the above is what is going on. Reporting it is what was best after have hard facts, instead of fraudulent emails. JMHO
