 i did it it will be okay
i flew with TJ about two weeks ago and he did great. first is he going to be flying in the passanger area with you( i hope so). get a pet carrier like one of those purse things. TJ loves his and take him with you place like to the pet store and keep him in it. planes are different though because the sound of the engine. it calmed TJ down he slept the whole time. talk to your puppy that will sooth him too hearing you voice. i would try the benedryl before the day on the plane because it made TJ very hyper instead of sleepy. i also bought one of those nylabones to put in his carrier as well as a baby size fleece blanket that seemed to help too. most airports will let you take him out of his carrier when you are in the loading area that way you can hold him. after we took of in the plane i put TJ on my lap (still in his carrier you cant take him out on the plane)and i talked to him. some people thought i was crazy lol. well good luck !!! |
