My vet recommended Dramamine or benydryl....Call your vet though dont just give this as dosage goes by size of dog....the vet also can give a relaxer like a lot of dogs get during storms. You also need to make sure your baby isnt stressed for a long time...as this can also affect blood sugar...Id suggest having Nutrical or Kayro on hand along with food. When I fly with mine I do what I can to sneak them out lol I get yelled at but oh well....i also have a chew toy (bully stick) or something to offer them. If I were you and you know he hates the carrier....call your vet to see about relaxing him. He really needs to be calm at such a young age.
Oh if they do yell at me I pull just enough of the carrier out from under seat to put my hand in with them so they dont feel alone
