I know we'd all love to go to a breeder's home to meet her and her family and see where our pup came from but in this crazy world, it's just too risky. People can't be trusted. Yorkies are too popular and expensive right now. Some people who can't afford them or who want to resell them will do anything to get one ... even come into a trusting, caring breeder's home and steal them.

However, in this particular case, I feel the breeder has something to hide. She received a few very nice and polite e-mail inquiries about her Yorkie for sale and her response was rude and sounded totally defensive. Why be defensive if you have nothing to hide? And before you say she was defensive because she found out what a few YT'ers had planned, I'm talking about BEFORE she found out. She just started out nasty and rude and to me that's a huge red flag. I would never give my hard earned money to a rude and snotty breeder.
I emailed her at first too to see how she would react to my email...yes I lied in my email...BUT this was before she found out about YT and she was nothing but nice to me in her email...she was NOT rude at all...very polite and asked alot of questions about my knowledge of yorkies, my home, my family etc..she seems very knowledgeable and like she is just doing her best to find Brandy a home...just thought id add this as she just was very pleasant to me...
