Make sure yo tell the vet you want this test, you want the pre and post blod draw, they will tell you to fast him and stuff. Just thought you should know before hand due to the fasting aspect. IM not sure about the first # and where it should be, I did asl Yorkieluv as I am certain she knows she is VERY knowledgeable about shunts and MVD.

As far as post numbers go. I think its up to 25 is normal 25 to 100 is possible MVD and 100+ usually indicates shunt. Hope that helps!
