I'll be the first to admit that I am not an expert...I have only purchased two yorkies in my entire life, both times I was allowed to enter the breeders home...there business', and given access to meet the puppies, and see both sets of parents. If I had been denied the ability to do so, I would not have purchased the puppies I did. Both breeders properties were clean, organized and I could see for myself, how these babies were being raised. If she is so afraid of strangers, maybe it's for a very good reason...and she shouldn't be in business for herself. My husband and I are small business owners...not puppies, but still...we would not have a business if we didn't allow people on our property, good grief...I can not imagine, treating customers like they have the plaque. And if she's raising puppies for sale, she needs to have better business practices...her place SHOULD be kept clean, and safe for those babies...she shouldn't have to worry about cleaning before customers come to purchase a puppy...it should already be clean. And no she doesn't have to let every Tom, Dick and Harry come see the pups...that's why she should do background checks...and only let those that are qualified to be new pet owners into her place of business. I have decided...that I will not do any business with this woman, or anyone like her. There are quality breeders out there, they're not that hard to find...that would welcome my business and my money!!! I merely felt sorry for Brandy...I feel she does deserve a better life, one I believe she could and should have gotten a chance to live.
