Freyja is 14 mos. old and she is pretty reliable for pee pads. She pees 100% on the pad and about 90% poop on the pad. We have let her have the run of the house and she is really good about it. One problem is that if we don't watch her sometimes she will "play with" her poop

and scatter it around. We have hardwood floors and tile mostly but I'm afraid the back hall rug is pretty well soaked in poop smell even with Natures Miracle.
My solution is to try to get her to go outside now that it is warmer. Has anyone had any luck with switching an older dog from pad to outside?
