I think you can still get ringworm even if your immune system is not compromised. I work in an elemantary school and I know teachers that have gotten ringworm from students and the teachers were young and healthy. All I know about it is that it's highly contageous and can be difficult to get rid of. I never heard about the black light thing...that's interesting
