I got all freaked out when I found a red ring on Mayson's belly. Since there was no hair loss and it went away in a couple of days, the vet told me that it was probably an insect bite an no worries. However, if you think it might be ringworm, I would take ever precaution if you can't get to a vet.

Know that it is highly contagious (even people can get it from their pets). So, make sure you wash your hands if you ever come in contact with it. Also, you can get anti-fungul cream from over-the-counter that can hold you over until you go to the vet.

I'll get a picture in a minute, but everything you are saying sounds like ringworm...BOOO...I guess I'll be calling around to all the vets to see who can see him. Thanks!!
