Since Cody is so young (9 weeks) I found it hard to believe that brushing him with a slicker or metal comb would be anything but miserable, so I looked for some unconventional methods. I just bought a baby brush and comb set (American Red Cross at Target) and he absolutely loves it. I only use a cheap puppy shampoo, but since I've started using the baby brush and comb his coat has really started to shine! I'm not sure it would work as well on adult hair, but for puppy hair, it's great!
