I understand what Bile acid test is, I am posting this for 2 reasons... 1, I think those that do not understand or that have a new yorkie hopefully will learn about MVD and Liver shunt. And what to expect and how the test works. I do have a few questions myself. And dont worry about "hijacking" the thread...I want this to be a thread that we can refer back to for our questions, and answers. Ill start with my questions

Diggy had bile acid test at 11 weeks old. I was told to fast him only 6-8 hours ended up being 7 hours. I think he fasted a shorter amount of time due to hypo and colapsing from low blood sugar. He was 1.1 pounds.
His results were 5 pre and 7 post Good numbers I think. When I read on here of others results thier first number is always lower than Diggys, like 1 and 2's what would cause his first # to be a 5? Should that concern me at all?
DOes the fact he fasted for a shrter period than most cause it?
