I have had like 500 pups so I can help you I wood not get a heat lamp its not Good for the eye's get a heating pad put under the box on med. I have my yorkie have the pups in a whelping box in my Bed Room and make sure at ALL times there is fresh bedding for her. if you did not know yorkies like to have pups at like 5:30Am/4:00Am So have a Good eye on her at All Times
