 New Yorkie Owner - advice
I'm new to yorkietalk, but I'm glad I found this site because I can share how much I love my new yorkie baby Zizou. He is just over four months, very sweet, and follows me everywhere. The only thing is that my boyfriend is getting a little jealous - not of the dog, of me! Sometimes he is hurt that Zizou is so attached to me. Even though my boyfriend feeds him, walks him, and plays with him just as much as I do, Zizou is always trying to get closer to me and will leave my boyfriend behind to follow me out of the room. When we walk him together, the puppy only walks with me. If my boyfriend has the leash, the puppy still acts like I'm walking him and pulls on the leash to stay close to me. He always wants to be in my lap and often ignores my boyfriend. Is this normal for the breed? |
