i really don't know. i mean...does he do ok with his pottying? we made lots of stops so we were on/near land quite a bit and she was able to go to the bathroom a lot. i would say that if you take him out, be sure to stop as much as possible to let him do his business. and if he is crate trained, take his travel crate. this way he can get rest when he needs it.
