Hmmm...My maltese Emma was spayed at the beginning of January and she had a bump also...I took her to the vet in March thinking it was a hernia as well and they said that it was probably a reaction to the sutures and that if it was still there in six months, to bring her back so they could fix it. Anyway, the bump finally went away just recently.
