I'll tell you what.... This should end all of the round and round arguing with that vet!

When you establish any animal as a new patient it is the vets responsibility to do an exam and take a detailed patient history. During that exam he does a physical, and he makes notes of the dogs breed, markings, they check for microchips, TATOOS, and do an oral exam as well as the ol' therm up the bum! All of this info goes into your pets FILE. A file that they add to each time you come to visit!

If your dog had that tattoo before that surgery, it would have been noted. And your Vet knows it!

I'd file charges just to make a point. Its one thing to make a mistake.. Its something else to deny it and not make amends.
