YorkieGirl, I am definitely in the same boat! I am 20, but I'm sure you will agree with me that most girls our age are obsessed with being "cool" and not focused on responsibility.
It takes a very mature person to have such a responsibility. It's like having a child! (as if i know what that's like).... But between working 40 hrs a week and trying to keep Rox happy, I am not going out on weekends. I haven't seen a movie this summer. I have seen 2 friends a handful of times. Roxy IS my priority... But I think very few people in my generation are up for the work.
Thank goodness I have parents who help me out-- or I wouldn't be able to do it. |
