Second that on the carpet for friction.

Mine use to become distracted when I tried to help at first but hey, they ain't going to have a litter out of her ear. So I kept my helping to a minimum of moving him to the rear. Now, he waits for me to take them out. Then water, then a treat.

My male was shorter and I used a folded towel for him. When she's ready, she'll kind of back into him, hopefully.
