IMO - of course

First off, I did not know that you could turn my post into this. It was a spur of the moment thing and I thought I would share with you guys what I encountered at the mall. I was pretty upset. Of course, I used the term "dumb", which I would if I could, replace it with something else.

I give the benefit of the doubt to everyone, but you guys don't know the full conversation. So, I find it hypocritical and judgemental on your part because only half of the conversation was posted. And it was a conversation. It was not a 3-4 minute "Hi and Bye".

If you knew me well, you would know that I would not judge anyone without having something to judge them by. I would not want someone to do that to me, so why would I do it to them?

I agree with Carter's Mom on this. She doesn't know what she is subjecting that little 7-week old puppy too. I do not see how you can defend that. From what I learned here on YT, you cannot bring a puppy that young into public without a full set of shots regardless of what the situation is. There is no pet shop in the mall that I was in. If she learned about the puppy before she bought it, than she would know not to bring it out into the public and she would know the endangerments of doing so. I would have spent my time educating her but I was taking up too much time already and my friends were waiting for me. Instead, I told her to visit YorkieTalk.com if she ever has problems because small puppies are prone to illness and are hypoglycemic. She did not know what hypoglycemia was. Sorry to say, she may not be dumb but judging by her knowledge of Yorkies or lack thereof.. I feel bad for the puppy and it makes me upset that someone would not learn more about the breed before they jump on the wagon and buy one. And this is my personal opinion because that it was I did. I knew that I wanted a puppy but I did not go out and make an impulse buy. Instead, I learned about the breed and I had everything ready when Fred came home because that is where I took him right after I picked him up. I even posted about bringing him out in public and everyone responded with a "No way!". I wish others would do the same and learn about a puppy before they buy one.

If she was there to buy carriers and collars, than she was not prepared for it to come home. She would have went out and bought all her supplies beforehand and brought the puppy straight home. She is young and yes, I am assuming her ignorance.

She did not let anyone hold the puppy but she was letting everyone pet her puppy and play with it's paws. They were making kissy faces at her (the puppy). The puppy looked scared half to death!

I just hope she knows how fragile a 7-week old Toy breed that small could be. I hope she will love him as much as we all love our Yorkies. I wish she will learn more about him soon before her puppy has a hypoglycemic reaction and she will not know what to do.

If she reads this post, I honestly have nothing to hide. I would explain it to her in full detail. And I hope she comes to YT. She can learn alot because in my opinion, she has a lot to learn.

Please don't tell me that I am a judgemental person or that I am unfair. That is something I am not and I find it offensive that you would call me that without knowing me or what was said besides what was posted.
